Wow. its amazing, that you can continue to think this was some big hoax pulled of by Jake..really? we aren't the government. we dont need to cover anything up, as the picture was part of the faker/troll..
reading comprehension has gone out the window.
you would trash a known and proven developer over something that 90% of you couldnt apply anyways, since its still in raw form, and unfinished at that?
and what if he has a root method ready tomorrow, and 10 people trash their phones, who are you gonna blame?
exactly. theres a reason this stuff stays between devs at first. to make sure you dont have to to try to explain to a verizon rep why superuser app is stuck on your phone in a bootloop.
grow up, act like real adults around here. the entire community needs to stop with this prepubescent crybaby crap. no one owes you anything. if you think hes taking too long, then do it yourself.
plenty of people are trying to root it, and no one is successful. yet.
a lot more people dont have the first clue how to begin to root a phone, but are throwing stones because they are A: not wise enough to do this B: too impatient to wait for a proven, and tested method and
C: unable to fathom the complexity of this, and think it is something you can achieve in a few hours.
i assure you, that is not the case. those of you that think the fact that the evo was rooted before it was released has any relevance seem to lack in your understanding of the differences between every single phone.
stop the whining, the bashing, the crying, the hatred, and give the devs some breathing room, stop making them answer for misinterpreted messages from their friends, and start appreciating, or learn to do it yourself.
no one wants to do something for people that arent going to appreciate it. a portion of the community thinks they can demand something. you aren't anyones boss, so stop acting like it, unless your going to start paying for it, then you can make deadlines, and expect production.
IN short, everyone needs to grow up, and stop being negative. it was old two years ago, its time for the community to start working together.
if half the effort to flame Jake went into rooting the incredible, we'd have custom roms by now.
