Okay, so just as a reminder for myself and those who don't know, you can't just flash update.app and install SuperSU to update ROM versions. Otherwise you end up with WiFi and mobile data not working for starters.

You also have to flash the system and cust partitions which go with the new ROM version.

So in the case of updating to B170, we're waiting for the B170 system and cust partition TWRP backups to be shared :) .

Same method as clsa did so far as I can tell. Used supersu and flashed the update app. Since mine has done odd things since it was new with regards to taking updates, I was hoping for something different.

Don't have anything much to add, just confirmation that partial updating appears to be a no go.

I also have b170 and have yet to root, or tamper with the device in any way. Another fellow asked if it is possible to install custom roms, stating that they had the virgin system. I was going to try to downgrade since I see a rom for the b150.. I have hacked many phones, but am hesitant to do so. I don't think you are missing much with the b170 update though. This phone is laggier than any other I have owned. I was hoping that getting the debloated b150 rom would solve this issue. I may just try to obtain root, and use a debloater, rather than jacking up the phone. What do you all think?

@madvane20 My Micro SD was full so I backed up everything to the internal, in the hope of restoring my phone and giving you the files you requested. Unfortunately, they were lost after installing your rom, even though I did not wipe Internal storage. I actually had to previously format Data to Fat in order to get a backup at all, as it was unable to even mount to back up the file. So I was unable to help you with your files. But I must say - YOUR ROM KICKS MAJOR BUTT, This $80 phone is now as good as any $500 phone. You Rock! I would encourage any other person with a virgin B170 to take the plunge and unlock the bootloader and install TWRP and your rom. Maybe they will dump the files onto a worthy SD card and upload it for you. Thanks again!
