I went from B160->flashed B170->flashed B180. Have to confirm that WiFi is not working in the initial setup and again when to WiFi settings to enable it but turn and stayed gray.
let me know if you want me to try anything.
thanks in advance.

I wonder if WiFi works if you flash back to B170. You could try doing that if WiFi not working is a problem. Also suggest people test calling, mobile data, and MMS (and possibly Bluetooth and GPS - if you use those) when flashing new ROMs to make sure it's all working as expected.

No success trying to flash b180 and then using the project menu to update the firmware, wifi is still not enabling. Did flash b170 and it works there.
Will try TWRP backup restore later or other methods after work. It's not my primary phone so no hurry. Thx

First off, thanks for your work on these roms. Not sure if you already know this but the problem with b180 rom, is in the boot image. I did a lot of testing and found if i install your b180 rom from b170, wifi will be shaded out. If i then flash the boot image, only, from your twrp backup, wifi then works. Once i have the boot image flashed from twrp i can install the b180 from scratch. So, my guess is your installer isn't flashing the boot image. Hopefully, that helps. Thanks!!

Just letting you know that you will have to reflash Magisk or SuperSU in order to get this to boot. I wish I knew what to flash after flashing B180. Because isn't the boot image from B170?

the bootimage i just uploaded is the one from my working twrp backup magisk is better than supsu works with safetynet so i recommend flashing it. its b180 bootimage wifi works i will when i have time later or tomrrow or when ever redo the stock installer and my rom then release my new rom after i fix it as well for now the attached boot image u can extract then copy to sdcard then install click install image select image select boot flash then flash supersu or magisk if supersu dont work let me know ill upload a bootimage u can use but it will need to be rooted to work some reason no matter what try for the stock boot image it has to be rooted. unless someone happens to have a working stock phone on b180 and dump them for me to see if it changes anything to know if maybe the person who gave me their twrp backup messed something up or not although i looked at cust it all looked fine although logo doesnt show but no biggie there just a logo. for boot for wifi well boot image root it then thats good for now gotta go

I'm uploading my B180 AIO stock rom now
It boots with no other boot.img or root needed
