Members, do you have this issue? I read in manual, IPX7 water resistance is valid only if back cover is installed correctly. My phone's cover is installed from all sides, just it sounds a little when pressed.

Mine makes some creaking noises as well when pressing on the back cover. I assume it is normal. If you look at the cover, there are some rubber gaskets around the SIM and SD card slots, that seems to be what is important for the cover to be on securely.

I had the same problem . Didnt want to take any chances so I got it replaced . I wouldnt say it affects the waterproofing but you never know .. The replacement didnt have any issues.
Suggest getting new back cover

You replaced the back cover I assume? Not the whole device...
