It'll be great for GMail notifications for example...
I'm using Light Manager from the Play Store which seems to work very well in customizing each notification for me.
Here you go so you don't have to search high and low and be sure to thank the creator for his fine work!!!

Yes, rear! It does nothing useful as of now. I only noticed it because my wife has one.

it would be great if it will light-up (even in white only) every time you have a notification... (just like in HTC Butterfly)
For now, the only options that we have are:
Incoming call
In call
Alarm
I would like to see this happen.

I can confirm lightflow can do this. You must enable it in settings
Enjoy
Sent from my LG-D802[/QUOTE I don't think this works for the Verizon variant. It will only light up while receiving a call.

I think our issue is with the verizon variant. I have a VS980 as well with no luck.Just tried it. What version of the app and phone are you using? What other setting? Root, direct, etc.
I tried and it doesn't control anything but the front LED.

I have a Verizon G2 and can confirm Lightflow Pro will control the rear LED however it just stays on solid and no options to make it flash or pulse. You must keep everything enabled in the default settings and then enable it via Lightflow.
