I don't like my gadgets ( Tab, Kindle, Desire ) in book style cases or any sort of permanent case for that matter ( even those slim silicon cases are too bulky for me ) . They're such great small, sleek gadgets why hide them and I find that these sort of cases just seem to hinder usage and make them more bulky ( flaps, lips, magnets etc )

I bought a $6.50 faux leather book style case off Ebay, put it on , took it off and put it in a drawer after a minute. Bought a $5 silicon cases, put it on, took it off and it's in the drawer too :)

I've just put one of these back protection stickers on:

It's a nice "textured" finish which gives it a bit more grip and I have exactly the same on on my Kindle 3 . If you don't like the designs then there's other suppliers out there like www.decalgirl.com ( though they are a bit more expensive )

( Before this arrived I'd just left the shipping clear protector on ) :)

Adds that little bit of protection when you're putting your Tab down and I suspect that you could use this when you're using naked ( the Tab not yourself ) and still be able to put most of the other cases out there on it when needed as it adds minimal changes to the weight/size/formfactor.

When transporting I house it in one of these:

This has the added advantage of fully protecting 3 sides of the unit . Definitely not the cheapest case out there but a beautiful piece of leather :)
