Hi. I wanted to go back to stock.
RUU flashed, bootloader status locked, hboot 1.18.
How do I know that hboot is original and it is safe to s-on?
Best regards, Mike

Hi. I wanted to go back to stock.
RUU flashed, bootloader status locked, hboot 1.44.
How do I know that hboot is original and it is safe to s-on?
Best regards, Mike
Do you have an HTC sensation or HTC sensation XE? Because HTC sensation/XE does not have hboot of 1.44. Also, there's not really a "stock hboot". Android 2.3 (gingerbread) uses hboot version 1.18 and android 4.0+ uses 1.27 or 1.29 hboot.

I saw that, but after reading this I'm not sure if my hboot is signed one and it is safe to execute "fastboot oem writesecureflag 3"
I was messing with hboot a lot in the past, dunno what is flashed to the phone now.
So the question is: how to make sure that my hboot is stock one to perform s-on command?

A ruu should return you to stock hboot.

And, in case you have any doubts, the HTC unbricking project can solve brick caused by s on with incorrect hboot.

JAM THAT THANKS BUTTON.
Happy to help.
