Just checking if I got this right.

I'm about to sell my Legend (just ordered a Desire HD), so I want to revert back to stock. The phone is currently rooted and S-OFF using AlphaRev hboot patch.

Will the phone be completely reset if I run RUU? I just want to be 100% sure of this...

Given that we can't downgrade the bootloader, even if the RUU does include one it won't flash it.

Isn't there any RUU with hboot 1.00 or 1.01? Considering my hboot is 0.43.0001

You're S-OFF with 0.43? Well, an RUU of 2.2 will do the trick then

Care to explain how you can have s-off with HBoot 0.43 when it's automatically uppdated to 1.0 when you run the s-off sequence?

Damn, you're right.. My bad! :/ HAdn't actually checked the version, I thought that the 0.43 vas patched, not updated.. Is there any way to restore 1.00?

I don't think so, you'd have to go higher to 1.01 by Froyo RUU...

If you are selling don't worry about removing S-off (since if you upgrade the purchaser cannot S-OFF anymore)
