Backing up stock Android one "seed" ROM

Hi there. I've recently purchased a Cherry Mobile One G1. I'm planning to root it so I can modify bootloader, bootlogo & flash some system files(e.g. Pixel Experience). But I want to make sure that I can return back to stock if something goes wrong and also apply if I can't install the OTA. Is the nandroid backup will work on this? TWRP recovery backup? Any successful methods?

Yes I think!

You can Reflash stock rom!
And dunno about twrp method, that method may also works, but I don't own the device so that I can't tell you exactly...
