I just did a back up of the Rom that's on my phone before I install a new one.anyways when it finished loading I went into the sd card section where you see all your roms and things that are on your sd card I couldn't find my Rom I backed up.Do I need to hit restore after I back it up or do I only restore it when I get ready to reinstall it. Please help...

Hi,

Your nandroid backups are stored in sdcard/clockworkmod/backups.

Go into recovery/backup and restore ,and press restore when you want to restore.

Hi,

Yes.
Once you have backed up,you can run a SuperWipe, which cleans the phone and prepares it for a new ROM.
The sd card is untouched.

no, restore is a option to restore device to previous state. Say you don't want the new rom you just installed, you can wipe then restore to your backup.
