Bad Hidden Wifi Connection

I recently got an Omate Truesmart. I decided to log onto my home's hidden wifi, but after doing so I get the error message "Not in range." However, the wifi menu shows a whole bunch of networks on my street and I am able to log onto my neighbor's wifi without a problem. I have reset my router, and disabled quickBoot. What else should I do?

Change the channel and/or frecuency to 2.4 Mhz.. Change too the bandwith from 40 MHz to 20 MHz.
