Hello everyone! Need some help here... I have a P40 pro (ELS-NX9) in Europe (C432) and I cannot find the firmware that I can downgrade to 10.1.0.131 to complete Googlefier. I am on 11.0.0.151 right now.
I have read and watched a number of videos and posts, but on Firmfinder there is no firmware for ELS-NX9, only ELS-N29 . I followed ICTFIX procedures and use the pack they provided for N29 to update from OTG but the phone did not allow me to install.

Is there any other way I can install Google? Very lost right now. Thanks

Really confused. You need to downgrade but you tried to update? 11.0.0.151 was the higher version on your phone? Post a screenshot of About Phone.

Sorry it was confusing, I meant downgrade over usb-c OTG file.

Current version is 11.0.0.151 and I want to downgrade to 10.1.0.131 in order to use Googlefier.

The lowest version I can downgrade from hisuite was 10.1.0.176 which failed to install GMS using Googlefier

Therefore I tried to downgrade via OTG as described by ICTfix (and I used their firmware file on their website) but it says the pack was not correct maybe because their version was for ELS-N29. The other downloadable firmwares I can find in internet are also all for ELS-N29 but not ELS-NX9.

What is now the best way I can install GMS? Thanks

Downgrade first to 10.1.0.176 using HiSuite. After that:

You can/I suggest you to use this version with dload method (OTG).
I have the same phone.

More than that, after you install the GMS stay on that 10.1.0.121. I am on this version too.

Disable the software update app (EMUI update)

One solution to disable the software update is to disable the update program.

For this I use the ADB AppControl application, which is currently up to version 1.7.1.
The application should be downloaded and installed on the PC from this address:

In the bellow pictures: Actualizare software = Software update (search for Software Update or how it is written in your system language)

Re-enable the software update app

Thanks for ADB AppControl application to: @Cyber.Cat

Firmware Downgrade with HiSuite proxy and Offline Packages

Thanks to: @ProfessorJTJ

In this tutorial I used firmware files for my P40 Pro C432. You have to use your firmware files according to the model and region of your phone. You have to know already how HiSuite-proxy is working.

We need to have the files on computer. Files will be downloaded during a downgrade simulation.

1. Downgrade simulation :

==================================================================
20211216 LE: now you can download the files directly from the page:
Captură de ecran 2021-12-16 230312.jpg

=================================================================

Use HiSuite proxy, choose the files from https://professorjtj.github.io/ ( www.firmfinder.ml ) and start a downgrade procedure (b). Remember your files ID . You will need them later.

1.R5.jpg2.fisiere on line.jpg

In my case IDs are:
BASE: 392311
CUST: 382942
PRELOAD: 384706

Files will be downloaded by default here:
C:\user\your user name\documents\HiSuite\ROM

When the download starts, go to that location and wait to it to be done.
C:\ partition should be NTFS formatted.

When download is done and it copy the files on the phone, copy all folders on your desired location and after that stop the downgrade process.
The partition where files will be copied should be NTFS formatted.

3.download finalizat incepere copiere.jpg4.locatie fisier si copiere.jpg

Now you have all the files on the computer for further downgrade.

2.Downgrade with HiSuite proxy and Offline Packages - Internet connection should be available.

In HiSuite Proxy, Offline Packages area, choose your files for BASE, CUST and PRELOAD, selecting the correspondent files from computer for each of them.
Loading of BASE and PRELOAD files will take some times. Be patient.

You have to insert the link for BASE, CUST and PRELOAD using your files ID, where XXXX will be replaced by the ID. The link is common to all firmware’s of any phone except the ID:

In my case:

BASE: http://update.dbankcdn.com/TDS/data/files/p3/s15//G5398/g1755/v392311/1/
CUST: http://update.dbankcdn.com/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G5398/g1755/v382942/1/
PRELOAD: http://update.dbankcdn.com/TDS/data/files/p3/s15//G5398/g1755/v384706/1/

Set other settings as in following image.
Start the downgrade.

5.fisiere off-line2.jpg

Done.

I have P40 Pro with software 11.0.0.230 C432R6. I want to downgrade to EMIUI 10.1 to install GMS. After that i want to update to current software version. I have a question about push notifications. Without any fix notifications won't work at all or only notifications from google apps like gmail or youtube will be broken?

Hello.. I'm a die hard Huawei fanboy here that's currently using Mate 20 Pro. Just got a set of Huawei P40 Pro and I'm kinda confused if doing the downgrade from my current build 11.0.0.243 (CR636) will result in loss of fast charge and data transfer. Can anybody advise?

Also, I can't seem to find the right firmware for NX9 (CR636). Anybody can advise if I should go with N29?

Thanks a lot for the help there buddies. Actually tried to use the phone without GMS but it's really not possible. Most of my company apps do not work on HMS and it's making the phone unusable and would be sad to sell a phone that I've just gotten for less than 24hrs due to this. =(

@keat007 You should go with N29. You will lost fast charge and data transfer, but after you install GMS you can upgrade your software to get fast charging and data transfer back.

CR636? Are you sure? Better post here a screenshot of About Phone menu.

HOW TO flash dload FW guide (downgrade or upgrade EMUI)

„USING OTG ADAPTER or OTG CABLE + USB MEMORY STICK

1. Extract dload folder (dload folder with all 3 zips inside) from downloaded above archive and copy to the root of your memory stick / drive >=8gb (formatted as exFat or NTFS) that will be used to upgrade
2. BACKUP your stuffs if you haven't done yet
3. Factory Reset your phone (optional) and POWER it OFF
4. Insert your OTG + memory stick / drive with the correct firmware on it (dload folder with all 3 zips inside)
5. Press Power button AND VOLUME + and as it vibrates and shows Huawei + Android logo WAIT FOR 5-6 seconds and release buttons, and the phone will enter in eRecovery mode. When in menu, select Update mode, then select Memory card/OTG update mode and it should start the update.

USING Huawei NM Card
1. Extract dload folder from downloaded archive above (dload folder with all 3 zips inside) and copy to your Huawei NM Card
2. BACKUP your stuffs if you haven't done yet
3. Factory Reset your phone (optional) and POWER it OFF

OR

If you want to do it from sistem after you've made your backup and had an factory reset (optional), insert OTG + memory stick / drive OR copy dload folder with all 3 zips inside to your Huawei NM Card and dial this on dialer *#*#2846579#*#* and select 4.Software Update then 1.Memory card Upgrade . If your inserted card / memory stick or USB drive or Huawei NM Card it's recognised and contains the right files, phone will restart and start flashing the firmware. At the end when it's restarting after succesfully flashed firmware, you can remove the OTG (if you used one).

How to check for update using eRecovery:

In order to acces eRecovery (using this method in order to update WON'T wipe your phone data, it's acting like an normal OTA), follow these steps:
1. Power OFF your device
3. When in menu, select Update mode, then select eRecovery mode then Update and recover system then Download update and recover. Connect it to Wi-Fi and it should start the update. If it's still the version you're atm, you can hit Cancel and then Restart. If it's a newer version than the one installed, let it download and update. At the end, it will restart to system.„

Thanks to @SilviuO

Thanks Daniel for your help today. I don't think I realised the potential of the phone until you installed the Ilham method on it.

I was originally using a method off of YouTube and a frozen GSF to get notifications, but this came with its own issues and a lot of functions/apps did not work. Since you fixed GMS today, everything works as it should and I am able to use apps I'd given up on - being able to use Play Store again rather than Aurora is great!

If anyone's considering whether you should go the Ilham route, then just do it. The phone feels completely different and seeing how little you pay for it, Daniel installs it for you and makes sure it's working + gives you advice on how to get the best out of it.

Thanks ever so much for your help today.

Is there absolutely no way to downgrade with version 11.0.0.260?
If so I need to get a different phone...

Hello. Google services were installed, but I lost the USB interface and the 40W connection and charging, and I didn't see the OTG cable. Resetting to factory settings did not help. I tried to use the instructions of this topic (https://forum .xda-developers.com/t/guide-how-to-solve-wrong-downgrade-fix-usb-connection-to-computer-p40pro-firmware-on-p40-pro-n39-on-n29.4333225 / ) the result is partial. Bottom line: The PC does not see the P40 pro; 40 watts is missing; OTG works.
I will consider that it is P40 Pro C432 region.

You downgrade from EMUI11: From which version of EMUI11?

    a. lower than 11.0.0.193 = that means phone has Fast Charge and transfer data between it and computer available => it is better to keep it on 10.1.0.131 but you can upgrade till maximum EMUI11.0.0.186 to avoid situation described at b.).

    b. 11.0.0.193 or higher=that means it has no Fast Charge and transfer data between it and computer is not available => you have to upgrade till EMUI11.0.0.202 to gain back those 2 functions. Upgrade will be made from the phone menu (OTA) or from eRecovery (online). Do not upgrade to a higher version than EMUI11.0.0.230.

In both cases it is better to disable EMUi upgrades.

In all cases the functionality of GMS will be 50-50.
    a. Could be errors => no downgrade to reinstall is needed. You will fix them on that firmware version (if you can).
    b. Could not be errors.

A short history of EMUI firmware versions on P40 Pro C432
( on other phones type or region could be different versions but some how similar)
10.1.0.121 = I suggest to use this version to install GMS. It is more compatible to upgrade to the next versions of EMUI . I never updated EMUi to a higher version than 11.0.0.186. In this case, my phone has a working Fast Charge and transfer data through USB cable from/to computer.
This is the version that I use on my P40 Pro and I disabled EMUi/software upgrade.

10.1.0.131= The last version that can be used to install GMS.

10.1.0.176 = This is the minimum version that you can reach when downgrade from a EMUI11 no higher than 11.0.0.186, using original HiSuite, if you never upgraded to a higher version than EMUI11.0.0.186. Downgrade from this version to a lower version (10.1.0121 or 131) will be done using ”pen-drive+USBC OTG” or ”NM card”.

11.0.0.186 = The last EMUI11 version that allows downgrade to a lower version (no lower than 10.1.0.176) using original HiSuite, if you never upgraded to a higher version than EMUI11.0.0.186. If you upgrade to higher EMUi version than 11.0.0.186, next time when you downgrade it, the phone will loose Fast Charge and transfer data through USB cable from/to computer. To fix this issues you have to upgrade back till the newest version of EMUI11. I suggest you to not upgrade to a newer version than 11.0.0186 and to disable software updates (EMUI), if you never upgraded to a higher version than EMUI11.0.0.186.

11.0.0.193 = It can NOT be downgraded to a lower version with original HiSuite. You can use HiSuite proxy or other method to downgrade to a lower version. After downgrade the phone will loose Fast Charge and transfer data through USB cable from/to computer. To fix this issues you have to upgrade back till the newest version of EMUI11, using OTA (frrom phone menu) or eRecovery (wifi). I sugest you to upgrade to 11.0.0.202 (no higher than 11.0.0.230) and disable software upgrade (EMUI).

11.0.0.202 = First EMUI11 that gets back Fast Charge and the transfer data through USB cable from/to computer after downgrade to EMUI10.1 and upgrade (several times) through OTA or eRecovery.

11.0.0.230 = Last firmware version that can be used to downgrade with HiSuite Proxy. It can NOT be downgraded to a lower version with original HiSuite. You can use HiSuite proxy or other method to downgrade to a lower version. After downgrade to EMUI10.1 the phone will loose Fast Charge and the transfer data through USB cable from/to computer. To fix this issues you have to upgrade back till the newest version of EMUI11, using OTA (frrom phone menu) or eRecovery (wifi). I sugest you to upgrade to 11.0.0.202 (no higher than 11.0.0.230) and disable software upgrade (EMUI).

11.0.0.260 = First firmware that will not allow downgrade to the previous firmwares with HiSuite Proxy. You have to dowgrade first to EMUI11.0.0.230 (or other, no lower than 11.0.0.202) that have USB connection to computer. This first downgrade will be done using ”pen-drive+USBC OTG” or ”NM card”. After that you can use HiSuite proxy or other method to downgrade to EMUI10.1 in one step.

12.0.0.218 = First stable EMUi12 firmware. It can be downgrade to 11.0.0.260 using the last version of original HiSuite. If you already installed GMS, on previous EMUI version, before upgrade to EMUI12, it will work.

Now you can return on first message of the thread and read next ones.

I want to thank @badmania98 for the prompt response to ky problem regarding downgrading a Mate 30 pro C432. After several attempts and the help of him I didn't manage to downgrade my phone from Emui 12 to install GMS but I decided to just wait for a newer method. The phone is GREAT even without GMS.
The man is a master in the field and very keen to help everyone at once! It is because of people like him that I appreciate the work that is being done in this forum! Keep at it my friend...

    GOOGLEFIER ON 2022

Googlefier cannot work on ...2022. Pressing on (step) 01 will have no action.
You have to set the phone date to 2021 and googlefier will work.
After migroG has been installed, open it to sign in.
Before sign in with microG, set back automatically for Date.
After your signin , return to Googlefier, skip step 2 and go to step 3.

    Hello everyone,

I want to share my experience here.

    I posted earlier a problem on xda "Can't downgrade P40 Pro ELS-N29 C432 from 11.0.0.260 to 10.1.0.131"

I tired many solution for several days and nothing worked!
Then I contacted badmania98 and he gave me the right and only solution to downgrade my P40 Pro from 11.0.0.260 to EMUI 10.
He provided me with the corresponding links and gave me a step by step procedure, shown in pictures that are highlighted by numbers..
" 1. Press this 2. insert that 3. etc... " and then he doubled check my work before I proceeded in Hisuite Proxy to make sure that the filled info about base, Cust, Preload and the software are 100% accurate.
I was able to downgrade my P40 Pro to EMUI 10 😁

Now here's the best part: He gave a private service and installed GSM on my phone using TeamViewer. He used his own files to install GSM on my phone... This service allowed me to have Google Push notifications working on my phone without disabling the Google Play Store 😁
Google service is working, maps, push notifications, everything related to Google is working now as if this phone originally had Google Pre-Installed in it 😁

    It was a great service!

    Thank you so much
