The edges aren't as smooth as I would like them to be, but I didn't have much time and really wanted to modify my original banner to address the two comments about the squared outline.
EDIT: I think I smoothed them out

I dislike the usual, slightly rounded corners. That's why I referred to the "squared outline" as opposed to "squared corners". Heh
Of course, any one can (very) easily edit the squared one.

I voted 4 because it's easily read. Just text needs some alignment.

Would have voted for 2 but it's really difficult to read the text. Why are you so hung up on rounded corners when the text is so hard to read?

The text is the most important thing. If you can't read it, what's the point in making it?

I agree, it is difficult to read the text because it is way too dark for a banner...

I've *personally* always done my best to make the text as subtle as possible (original had even darker text). That's just my taste.

There is subtle and there is illegible.. When those banners are shrunk to size it will just be a blurry mess..

No offence meant, I appreciate your hard work - It's just that the text IS there to be read but we can't read it without straining..

Again, this is just my opinion - but please take it as contructive criticism, as it is meant to be.
