It was csc8, my mistake. Nevertheless it won't flash with odin, and twrp wont update it...

Yes U can. Read the Ops first page U will find the answer. Flash via Odin is a hint.

don´t flash anything from qualcomm to exynos

regadless they both are on Qualcomm the g96x "0" baseband is the international global open. (i think if you flash the "w" baseband will restrict the device to north america bands and or just Brick it so Nhaaaa

You have to Flash with bootloader from the same Firmware

Down load the Full Firmware with SAMFIRM decrypt and Flash BL and CP
You wont loose ROOT kernel or nothing..

If you flash only the Baseband or CP you will get the MODEM boot loop error or the Blue screen of death..

If you get the MODEM error Screen on boot just FLASH the bootloader BL and modem CP in odin from the same firmware file.. and you will be set to go !! peace

How do it bypass the Tethering and Hotspot restriction on my G960USQU6CSGF - Verizon - Nationwide Unlimited?

I am confused if some app will do it and not reveal the device is tethering or if the phone requires firmware being flashed.

If a app, free or paid will do it, that will suit me fine.

I have downloaded the appropriate base band modems for this phone but, not sure they will be needed to accomplish what I want.

I assume this phone has not been rooted and I believe I've read the bootloaded has not been unlocked as of yet.

There is no Modem currently with index J for the G965F.

apologies for asking this here- i have SM-G965N (stock, no root, latest one UI)- i see only lte/3g and 3g only option.
could you please suggest what to do if i want to see full fledged options like global firmwares- like 2g, 2g/3g auto, 3g, 2g/3g/lte (auto)?
i am familiar with odin. which file i can flash to get unlocked mobile network selection options?
