Best way is to just try them for say 48 hours each, and see how much battery usage and the quality of calls and the amount of signal you have. Only test .72 and .77 on ICS and JB, I dont know if they will work with GB roms and I'm not going to find out. Other than that please just test and write your results here.How can I find out which baseband is the best one for me? I live in India !

For you information, I update baseband (.77) on my St15 Mini with JB 4.1.1 and I don't notice low sound...
About battery drain, I can't really say yet because it's the weakness of actual unofficial JB roms.

On my Sk17i I have better reception and lower battery drain with .77 compared to .72
I live in Italy, and I use baseband 72, but i don't have a nice signal(I never going in 3g).... what baseband do you reccomend?
Flashtool says that this baseband above is a .72 baseband....77 baseband ftf: (Not tested by me please report if its working or not??)
NOTE: Reported to cause low ringtone and music sound

Nope, it's displaying correctly, anyone know what baseband it's better for nice 3g signal in italy TIM?
im actually on baseband 72 and i have poor signal ;\ where my friend with galaxy next stock have much signal then me.

If you are using ICS try .77 BB you may get a low sound issue though but not sure.
wow nice this helped alot, thanks man :good:... i have a very poor signal before on and off using .72 here in the philippines.. but when i flashed .77 on my xmp my signal strength boosted like a mo'fu lol now i dont have problems anymore with signal going out on me.. i mean for now.. will report wassup when i used it within 48 hours :victory: and music sound seems ok i see no difference using real ics r6

Now im on gb because It's much faster then ics, so Now i test baseband 77 and I tell you if it do better signal.

The low sound I can not help with I'm sorry but if you are getting low signal then please try a different BB. For GB, BB .66 works well.

I flash the 77 bb in .587 custom rom works fine the signal is very strong now before i had bb 72 with low signal, and the is no low noise problem. mobile network WIND Greece

Sony phones always had a little problem finding range and 3g connections. My friend using Samsung phone (same network as mine) gets 3g where as i get 2g speeds ( very slow net) at same places
