Xiaomi poco F1

yes i also consider this issue in Xiaomi poco. But on the other side, the company promised every user that they are aware of the issues and are working on a fix for all of them. They also update the software to fix the bugs.

I would love to have just a little more battery for my F1 adding Qi as if it was possible, but I can't find any satisfying solution. So I will try to built my own case with aprox 1k battery, Qi and retaining full access to all connectors...

I wouldn't bother with an extra 1000 may - go big or you won't notice the benefit
Qi coils with USB-C plugs are available cheaply on AliExpress. No problem to insert one inside a flexible case. The problem I can't get round is the need for a USB-C passthrough connector, so you can retain access to the socket. If you know what you're doing and are very confident in your soldering you might be able to fashion a solution, but I wouldn't risk it myself

I already have a QiCoil and I am building around the passthrough connector as for now I couldn't find any. The QiCoil is about 4 Slips including a load balancer. The Foil-battery is only 1.8mm thick so my construction will add 2.4mm to the Pocophone

I'll be really interested to hear how making the passthrough connector goes. Post back if you can!
Good luck!

Until today some things happened. Sadly I still couldn't even find a proper working USB-C solution. Actually I use a highly modified CFR-case and a flat Y-shaped adapter I built myself, but this doesn't work good with the Qi-coils. With fastcharge connected, the F1 is beaming energy everywhere else but into the battery. On Qi the charge mainly goes into the added 1000mAh battery, it takes a full charge of that before the internal battery is being loaded and then, guess what, the added battery charges the internal and the Qi is almost ignored. The joy of that is sadly gone and so will the Poco and the idea. I went back to my old ones I can repair myself...
