Hello!

On a site of the producer of Samsung http://www.samsung.com/ru/support/model/GT-I9192ZWASER-techspecs it is possible to notice, various modes of time of autonomous operation of the device in which the following is declared:

Conversation time: till 12 o'clock (W-CDMA)
Waiting time: till 300 o'clock (W-CDMA)

Especially impresses a waiting time of 300 hours while at me reaches 18-20% of the category at night.

Whether it is possible to learn somewhere phone settings with which measurements were made? What has to be included - is disconnected-is started that I could check declared operating time of the device at home independently?

How in the certified service center there is a battery phone check on the subject "the battery is quickly discharged" what they conditions create or the equipment is special for check?

I will speak to them that the battery is quickly discharged, they will declare that all within norm how me to find truth and to show Samsung corporations that there are mistakes in phone or the software?

Yours faithfully Maxim.

Well I'm glad to find I'm not the only one to face that hungryness of battery for that so small phone.
It's completly insane, last night I was having 28% battrey and after 8 hours phone off.
And i'm syncing my mail only every 2 hours o_O
Wtf with that phone.

The tools included in the OS will not help you that much, in my case it doesn't.

WTF ? are you serious ? Well that confirm my general bad feeling about this phone
I'm afraid but it is true.
I'm thinking to sell off this phone.

Use "Tasker" or any profile scheduler to toggle Airplane mode in night.
Even airplane mode is toggled for 10 minutes it slows down battery drain for next 6hours.

Hmm

Samsung could have made this phone wonderfully excellent but they didn't.

They know this problem but not fixing it.

In my case sd card was responsible for battery drain. Also try Silvian rom that has his kernel. I flashed this rom + took out the sd card and survived 36h! Battery screen shots in his kernel thread

Yesterday I figured out the real problem.

If I toggle ON/OFF Airplane mode for 1 minute the battery drain stops as long as I don't make any call or receive it. :D

Well I can't leave without my sdcard and it never drains battery of any of my previous phone.
And is there any custom rom for the mini s4 DUOS ? because so far I didn't find any.

That phone is a brain teaser, I will try to have the warranty work.

Yes s4 duos is the first phone for me causing problems with sd card too! I am trying now the 4th card......let's see
Take out your sd card for one day and you'll see if it stopped drain or not.

The rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49209925&postcount=43 flash it, you won't regret.

Hi guys,
have you tried to disable the Google accounts location service?
I did it and gave me further battery life.

You can find it here:
1) go to your applications menu
2) find the Google Settings icon (it's in a grey colour)
3) Open it and click the Location
4)Disable all

done!

Ok I admit that overal the battery life is not very good, but after did the above, now is much better.

The same situation. Bought a phone as a gift for my wife. She complained to the quick battery drain. I saw the graph it showed 3% per hour. Awful. Ejecting the upper sim card has completely changed the battery consumption - 0,4 - 0,8% per hour. So it is definitely the manufacture flaw...hardware or software. There are a thousand complains on this on my local forum. There is not any solution or workaround yet (when using the dual sims).

forgot to mention the issue has appeared only on 8GB version. So it must be a hardware issue.

P.S. Oops http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48743951&postcount=38

i9192 unbelievable battery drain

Is there any new solution to the problem with this phone. I recently tried to change the ROM, even though I have knox :(.

No my warranty is void, and the phone still has drainage.

The worst is when the battery is bellow 10%. It went from 7% to 1% and then shut down? WTF?

I even have better consumption when I am using 3G then WiFI?

Can somebody please recommend a viable solution

Thanks and BR

this the only reason am going to dump this phone in another couple of months , i have tried everything from roms to kernels but if i use both sims battery drain is 25% overnight with no network or any data connection with sim 2 slot empty battery is perfect with 4 to 3 % drain overnight under same conditions and get a good talk time and data through out the day and with sim 2 on i have to carry portable charger in my pocket !!! been to the service center 'on record' everything is fine and they can't do anything .:(

Hi guys,

I recently bought I9192, it's a great phone, fast, reliable, but battery life seems to be the only "problem" with this phone. I started searching the web about battery life and came across a lot of threads describing different problems. I acctualy don't have so drastic battery drain, but it seems to me that it is a bit more than it should be. I use BetterBatteryStats to monitor battry consumption, here are my results in different usage scenarios:

Overnight (idle) - 7h32m31s 43%-30% 1.7%/h - SIM1 3G network, SIM2 2G network, (Wi-Fi, GPS, mobile data and Bluetooth off)

Overnight (idle) - 6h46m12s 66%-52% 2.1%/h - SIM1 3G network, SIM2 2G network, (mobile data on; Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth off)

Overnight (idle) - 7h59m52s 45%-44% 0.1%/h - Airplane mode on

I get about 2.5%/h battery drain from phone uplugged to next charge with everyday usage, is that OK?

I also noticed that NoDataConnection and NoOrUnknownSignal always appear and count time when phone is not connected on mobile network. That is present on log files of other users posted on this thread, is that a concern or normal thing with these duos phones, since i didn't notice them on single SIM phones?

I use stock ROM 4.2.2 with I9192XXUBNC1 baseband and my RF date is 19.01.2014.
