As stated in the OP and throughout this thread numerous times. You need to flash a custom kernel that has the hardware check removed and the kernel needs to be compatible with the rom you are currently running.

so with a custom kernal I would be able to charge this phone thru a cable, right?
***TOUCH WIZ USERS*** The fascinate has a hardware check that will only allow for the use of "vzw" specific batteries. So before you order one confirm that your current custom kernel has the hardware check disabled and that you can use/charge 3rd party batteries.
If you're on cm7 pool party or any other MTD rom it's not an issue.

Well its at least the 20% the numbers suggest. I've had mine over a month now. So its not super massive like double your on screen time but its noticeable enough. Expect 20% over the stock maybe a tad more if you had a year old battery like I did.
took a good 15 seconds to figure out why the phone cover wouldn't snap on lol
does your original cover not snap on with the 1800. Granted its tighter but you'd be the first I know of who didn't fit
it fit but barely lol. I have a cover though over the back snap on so it won't ever pop off.
Did you have use voodoo ?Iam first to use it,so difficult to me ,can you talk about everything of voodoo ?thanks alot

Great question for a battery thread... not. But what I can talk about is using the search function. Hmmm, "what is a voodoo kernel" would be a good place to start. The subject of voodoo kernels has been covered quite well in this forum and many others for the last 12 months.
