Hi
I have noticed the battery icon changes to battery from plugged immediately even if it is connected to power supply. I have never noticed it with stock rom. I am using thaihugo's WWE 1.22.Shift. Did anyone notice that?
Thanks
Ram

did the word "not" fall out of your statement

If you add the word "not" after "...even if its is NOT....

the sentence becomes logical :)

But I tested just now, to see what you could mean..

If I nowplug my power in my shift, I also see the battery icon immediately after the powercord icon.

My guess is that because my battery is full, it won't show the "charging" icon anymore....

Nope.

What do you mean? I have the plug icon when I plug, and battery when I unplug. Don't you have this?
Nope, it is showing battery icon instead of plugged in icon for a full battery, even if it is plugged in, while charging it is showing plugged in icon (for a not 100% charged battery. lucid correctly mentioned this.
Thanks

thanks for the follow up. I share your opinion/amazement about the icon showing the battery status when plugged in and charge is at 100%. It should remain on the plugged in Icon.

I want this to happen because my car charger sometimes looses 12V because it's a huge charger and just fits the 12V cigarette holder. The icon would tell me if it's charging or not, in this case, one has to look at the LED on the Shift or the Shift charger.

Got the same. Looks normal to me.
Got confused with it, because I was expecting a plugged in icon whenever I plug it to a power source other than battery, which is normally observed with laptops and you will see the same on Vista Side. It shows it as plugged instead of battery even if it is 100% charged, and you would see the same in any other PDA. Shift WinMo is differently showing.

I recently upgraded my 8525 ROM to 6.1 and noticed the same issue, but on the other hand on my tilt it is perfect. But anyway I could look at the LED and decide whether it is charging or not. No big deal.

Thanks

I had that when I used an other power suply. So, not the original.
When switched off, it has enough juice to recharge my shift, although slowly, but when the shift is running it just can't cope.
So, Is your powersuply working correctly?
You can check in vista or with the charge LED.
If it is working correctly....\
well....
What do I know!?

Yes, initially I also thought that my power supply might be a goner, but the led is orange while charging and solid green when it is fully charged.
:)

I have SP1, all latest HTC drivers and bios update, and of course cmonex HArdSPL. I never experience hibernation problem or SD card problem as I used to have before.
