Battery is at 10.4 degrees Fahrenheit. How much damage can this cause?

Left my phone in my truck for a couple hours and saw that my battery was over 122 degrees fahrenheit. Had an "oh crap" moment and stuck it in the freezer for a few minutes to let it cool down. 2 hours later, I realize where I had forgotten it. 10.4 degrees Fahrenheit!

These sudden temperature changes can't be too good for it, haha.

I know that very cold temps suck the life out of my drills and they always charge up and run ok. Hope this is the same as with your phones battery.

Hopefully. Im still laughing at how funny it seems. I had to call it to find it. Was surprised when I heard vibrations from the freezer. :D

Well not to make things bad but the initial temp was 122F than straight to freezer which probably made it cool down drastically. Which will probably cause condensation. I hope your phone didn't get wet from the inside.

Working fine so far! I used it as an excuse to flash to KF2. I was still on that very original gingerbread leak with a bunch of bugs.

A cool computer is a happy computer. A hot computer works harder. In this case your phone is your computer. I'm sure that the manual for the phone lists the operating conditions for the phone. Just try to keep it at room temperature and you should be fine, unless you're overclocking it. :D
