Hi devs, as I know there are many people complaining about battery life, I wanted to share an observation and also ask for an explanation behind it... My Note used to last around 2 days when I got it but after updating to JPLA1, it started to die on me in less than 24 hours.
I didn't want to factory reset. One day the battery died on me completely and phone turned off. After recharging, I'm getting about 1% battery drain per hour on standby... if I chargr the phone before it shuts off due to an empty battery, I'm back to 4-8% battery drain per hour on standby (all other settings the same)... I have been able to reproduce this effect many times... Is this a kernel issue or do I need a new battery?
