Question Battery life - I'm lovin it!

Little update,
Yes battery in my use going better and better yesterday same usage and 8pm still has 35% left never had Thst many that really suprise me.
Also today 10 hours drive and phone on wireless charger in the car was charged phone and navigate all time (10w) that wow, old Samsungs has problem with this never does both even on cable charge and navigate never charged my phone.
So for me right now pixel 7 pro is back in the box and 100% use S23U and see what will on long use.
But yes from Monday battery going better now

Not sure mate how your, but my is completely disappointed, pixel 7 pro has 8h+ on display S23U hardly has 7.5h+
Not sure if just my usage is more hardly use but battery or maybe setup is different for me.
All turn on (mobile data, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, location, Nfc, adaptive motion, wqhd+)
3 hours on Spotify with Bluetooth speaker.

Yes I use phone for my work so most day on it.

I am using WQHD, Adaptive Refresh, Adaptive Battery and Standard Power. Have Facebook, Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, Paramount+ and Disney+ apps installed. Battery life is so much better than the s22U. I did find two things that were major battery hogs and gave me an extra hour to 1.5 hours battery time. Switching from 5g mobile to LTE only and uninstalling Direct TV app. Right now I am at 6.5 hours on screen time and still have 45% left.

It's so annoying that this still needs to be done. They really need to figure out 5G power consumption if they ever want to have customers actually use it.

That's probably "good" (?) for the S23U, especially if not optimized. All Samsung's should be optimized for best battery life and performance. Either by Package Disabler or adb edits.

Even with a degraded battery that due to be replaced I'm getting 8 hours or so on an optimized* N10+; easily over 12 hours SOT on a new battery. Samsung's stock solution has been to use a bigger battery since the N20U, with progressively worse SOT per mAh in spite of what should be more efficient SOCs and ram... and now no expandable storage.

*unoptimized the N10+ was a hot running hog that got 6.5 hrs SOT. Optimizing nearly doubled the SOT as significantly increased the screen off time as well. Backup Transport was a major perpetrator.

It's lengthy and involves many setting changes. I use Package Disabler as well. I've posted about it numerous times but you see how many posts I have I probably should make a thread on the N10+ forum...

So, day one, regular use for me, at 50% after nearly 9 hours! Thats a record for a Samsung device, for me.

Same here; amazing battery.
After doing tranfer from my old N9 (4 years, still had 8h SOT) and charging to 100, I did:
- uninstall FB, LinkedIn, Amazon
- disabled AR stuff, Maps (using Here maps), Chrome

I am getting less than 6%/h screen time.

Battery saver on, lite mode on, for now charging to 85% but going to do a few 15 to 100% in the coming weeks.



Fast charging OFF.

Same here, overnight losing 2%. Although the other day I lost 0%. But today 2%. It's a little inconsistent.

Battery life atm; 2 days off charge, 8h 30min sot, wqhd+ 120Hz + performance mode, have 41% battery left
