Battery Life on My 7

Charged my 7 to full power. Put in airplane mode with only wifi on. Started the movie Avatar playing at 9:22pm.

The Streak ran out of power at 11:59 which was before the movie ended ( Movie was (2h:58min run time)

As much as I like the device, there is no way this is acceptable. This is about as good as my old T-mobile Wing did a few years ago. I do condition my battery over the first few days by charging to full and depleting fully but this had no effect on battery life.

She goes back tomorrow for a refund.

Yep i have to agree with you on that..I love this thing but the battery life is just a nightmare...which is why i'm taking mine back this week also & probaly just going have to bite the bullet & get the Xoom

Talked to a Dell rep today & he told me to always "power off" the device when not in use so i will try that..that's like a restarting it everytime you want to use it..however

I wanna take it back due to the poor battery life but i like it ..just hate having to charge it so much so often

The battery is quite a disappointment. But that is the only flaw I have found with it. Im sure as more dev. Gets done there will be battery savings to be had. Im used to horrible battery life. My Dinc is horriable on battery ill live with it.
