Have you done a factory reset or two since the update? After update to Nougat 7.0 my H850 is losing battery very fast. 1:30h SoT -_-. Any solution? Already done a wipe...
That seems to help with the rapidly draining battery.

Thanks for the suggestion, tried it and observed for a bit, didn't seem to help..I remember my Galaxy S6 and my brother's Nexus 6P wouldn't go to deep sleep until we disabled Google Backup feature (the one that backs up app data, settings, etc.) and restarted the phone. Try that.
This worked!!! Now I have to understand why charging the phone triggers the problem and what specific process within the android system it really is...I found that I solved any drain issues by clearing all app preferences which removes all the permissions

How many % do you lose per hour in IDLE ?
Apparently, N makes us losing TWRP. It's taking a great risk to upgrade before TWRP is present for G5/N.
How could a battery drain resist a flash ? Could it be caused by something in /firmware or in /sys ?
Right now, i'm working with the App "Disable Service" to try to find a culprit.
Right now I'm losing ca 5,6% an hour on standby, running a de-bloated stock ROM.
On CM I was up at almost 12% an hour, so stock has been fairer for the battery,
But how a drain can resist a flash is beyond me and my knowledge of this. I even tried to format everything except ext sd, which did not help either.
Thank you bossss!!I found that I solved any drain issues by clearing all app preferences which removes all the permissions
