Hope huawei aren't exaggerating, but that battery size and the ridiculous power usage compared to the kirin 970, we should be seeing sickening screen on times.

Huawei blabla... My Mi Mix 2s got better battery life than my Mate 10 Pro, with 20% less mAh and IPS.

I would wait too... No reason to expect greatness based on some numbers on a spec sheet.
Never had issues on my 10 pro til today ? but that's my fault for keeping the screen on watching the release over 4G LTE
My Mate 10 pro literally destroy my ex Mi Mix 2S in battery life especially during gaming. That poor xiaomi bastard cant get 5h sot while gaming
If my mate 10 pro can get this, I'm pretty sure the 20 pet can get the same if not more. This is with really bad signal for over 13 hours too

On my first night of having the device I decided to give it a ''youtube during sleep'' test.
Had the phone fully charged to 100%, unplugged device, started up youtube and loaded a podcast with autoplay enabled.
Once I woke up the mate 20 pro was still going at it. Having lost only 32% battery with 4:42 SoT at a fixed 50% brightness. (yeah i only sleep 5, hours just a bad habbit xd)
I would say, not bad at all.

So this phone should do easy 10 hours SOT of normal use, of course if you dont game or use other heavy apps.

I don't have it. I just tried demo unit from Huawei Vietnam. I can confirm that battery life is very good, much better than Xs Max and Galaxy Note 9.
