Thats nice
So far it is quite good. I am coming from a 3 year old Onplus 8 Pro, so my expectations are not that high
When i got to 10% I was at 7 hours of screen on and 27 hours in total.
So I got it on the 2nd in the afternoon, charged it to 100% at 17 o'clock and used it a lot to set it up and it was at 10% 27 hours later. It is still learning my usage. Droped 3% on standby during the night for like 7-8 hours.
Camera eats up battery as expected, played with RAW in Lightroom too and it did drain, but it was quite fun adjusting the picture with the S Pen
Charged it yesterday evening, 12 and a half hours later, with 1 hour of screen on time, it is at 90%. I am quite happy with battery life so far. I have not tried the battery saving options for now.
Hi. It is at FHD at the moment, 120 hz and yes, adaptive battery is on, but it was the 1st charge so it is learning. Are you using WQHD and 120hz? Do you have adaptive battery on?
Thanks for your feedback!

I have my S23U for about two days now, and I charged it twice. It seems that video playback depletes battery quite sparingly. I'm chuffed to bits about this, because I watch Netflix a lot.
I have bad eyesight and for me, it does not matter really, so I decided to leave it at FHD. It for sure impacts battery lifeAny reason why you're using it at FHD? WQHD is more pixel dense and I higher resolution. Would you be able to run it in WQHD with the other settings the same? FHD, will definitely save more battery so it might be why yours is so good right now.
Nobody knows how this happened. In Bulgaria of all places...How are you guys getting this so early? It releases on the 17th worldwide.
Hahaha well enjoy it. Happy some people were able to get lucky.
There hasn't been one person who has been unhappy with the battery so far that I've seen. Specifically one guy on Twitter pointed out that just his first day battery (which is usually going to be 20% or more worse than the settled battery since the phone is doing crap in the background and wasting energy learning your preferences) was 2 hours more screen on time than his S22U (Snapdragon) that's been optimized would have gotten.Battery life is the only reason I would spend the $700 to get the S23 Ultra. Im happy with the way my S22U performs all around except the battery life could be better.
I know in these drain tests it looks like it is very close to the iPhone 14 pro max but real life usage may or may not translate to maybe 1.5-2hrs more screen time than the S22U.
In Latvia they were available very next day after announcment in pretty much any store. I got mine delivered to house on Friday. How are you guys getting this so early? It releases on the 17th worldwide.
Yea it looks optimistic so far. Still thinking about it but would be nice to have IPhone level battery life in an Android finally. My brother is a pretty heavy user and his 13 Pro Max gets charged once every other day. There hasn't been one person who has been unhappy with the battery so far that I've seen. Thabk you, i know and i really take care of theese stuf.Just remember that draining your phone down to 10% all time and charging to 100% is gonna wear out the battery quicker. I have protect battery on for both my S22U and also the Tab s7+ so they only charge to 85%. Battery Life is at 97% for the S22U but down to 87% for the Tab s7+ which will probably need a new battery by end of the year.
"Hamilton says that you should only be partially charging your phone to slow down the depletion of your batteries life cycle. She says the sweet spot to keep your battery charged is at 25-85%. “Lithium-ion batteries can be stressed at the extremes. Jan 30, 2023"
