Try using another rom, I suggest stable one like cm7.2 or ms2ginger. If problem consist, it's real.

li-ion batteries are not just worn by date, if you dry off your battery so often (let it reach 0-1% til phone shut itself.) this also affect battery life greatly (and should be avoided, charge often instead.)
