Hi all, after the third trip back to LG under warranty the good old GPS issue in 13 months, LG UK have offered me £350 as a refund because they say the phone is beyond economical repair which they say was the average retail price when I bought it in February 2017. I have rang who I have my contract with and my termination fee will be just over £220.
It's such a shame as aside from the GPS issue I really liked the phone, great camera, fast, being most importantly being able to swap the battery.
For me the images that I got from it showed me the importance of a good camera, I've narrowed my next phone down to two, Pixel 2 (having had a nexus phone before, it's shocking how long it companies take to up date their phone, plus an amazing camera) or OnePlus 5t (great screen, very good camera though the lack of OIS is a concern and very good battery life)
Which of the two would you pick?
