Rooting Problem

Hello guys,

I am new here... I need help...

When I tried rooting my Samsung Galaxy Note 4.1.2, after the last reboot it stopped functioning and it only shows the Samsung Galaxy GT-N7000 welcome logo.

Please help me bring back my mobile phone into life.

Thanks a lot to all.

I just followed this video (please find it in google search bar. I can't post a link): How to Root ICS/Jelly Bean on Galaxy Note GT-N7000! [No Computer Required!]

Please help me bring back my Galaxy Note
CWM-SuperSU-v0.87.zip
CWM.zip ----------> DONOT USE THIS EVER!
franco.Kernel-r5.zip

SO i believe you used the above files to root?
The kernel you installed doesnot support JB which was running on your device previously.
Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901191, find << Latest versions always here: >>
then choose tw only:
the choose one of the kernel if you know what rom version you were on. if not choose any.. use ext sd to place the kernel. then boot into recovery and flash the kernel .. reboot.

If you have installed PhilZ then the phone already rooted. I find some custom rom 4.12 such as Sweet rom 10.5 very good. Kitkat for Note now just at experimental phase. If you want them follow guides in the reapective rom in the original android dev thread.

If you are more experienced, then can try any rom, omni, cm...But if still new, go for Sweet Rom or some other stock-based custom roms first.

Unroot

This is my first post on the forum so go easy please. There are plenty of talented people on here and I thank them for the time and work they put in to helping others.
I used method 2 and rooted my N7000 with no problems the guide was really good and easy to follow. I have never done anything like this before so was quite glad all went well. That's all I have done and have not installed any other roms etc.

Method2:
Rooting with Stock Recovery+Safe Kernal + CWM Recovery: [recommended]

I have searched on the forum about unrooting the phone if perhaps I was going to sell it. There is plenty of information but I am a bit lost as to what method to use and I have read about the brick bug and mines has the insane chip. I am using a stock firmware ics 4.0.4 xxlrk . The safest step by step method of unrooting and going back to stock ics would be most appreciated.

Download the stock firmware and flash it using Odin.. This will get it to unroot.. but DO NOT wipe (stock ICS recovery} on a stock ICS kernel. More help on using odin can be found here
