Bought a Belkin c to a adapter (OTG)
And was rather surprised to find that it WILL in fact, charge upstream if a USB a to a double ended male extension cable is inserted. I'm thinking it's very possible to splice a power line and cheesy, generic usb hub/card reader/drive, whatever into it to build cheap multi port hubs and pass through power without spending a fortune on peripherals. I am returning the35 dollar power passthrough gate i bought earlier now.
However, there are 5 additional pins inside the usbA sized female that I'm not quite familiar with. Anyone know?
