Okay so you might of have seen my previous posts about the Wifi not working properly but i have found the weirdest fix ever and it does sound strange LMAO
So first of all take off your case
Then take back cover off
Then grab your screen and push in to the are under neath HTC and the front camera and bend it a lot (this wont brake screen) Bend the htc really hard inside with lots of pressure!
Im not sure but i watched a few videos and that is where the flex cable is located at and what i can infer from this is that it isnt connected properly so when you put a lot of pressure on the screen by bending it inwards this connects it.

You're so cruel to the phone! :) but I'll give it a try because I already have 3 Sensations with broken WiFi. I can bring one of them to the slaughter :))) Thanks for the finding!

I have the same problem,i tried your method but nothing succeded. I think sometimes can ben dued to cabel disconnect, but i think wifi is broken in my case. I prove with new kernels, but nothing. I see that in "mac wifi addres" there is "not available"... i think it's broken.
