so i have been using set cpu with 2265 max, 729 min, interactive, test-iosched. settings....WITH the qualcomm batteryguru app...AFTER the app figured out how i use my phone, which took about 4 days. these are my current battery stats. please note the current time up and the % of battery left. granted i will tell you i have been at work all day and have not used it to call. i have used the camera, txt, my stock trading program, and chrome. but i think its fairly effective.

It is the amount of time the screen was on. Meaning you were looking at an on screen.

Sometimes, certain apps keep your device awake and increase the screen on time.

If you go to "menu > settings > battery", you can view what is using the battery. If you click on "screen on time", it will show you exactly how long the screen has been on.

Download the app Wakelock Detector from the Play Store.
Open it for the first time right after you unplug your phone
After some deep sleep occurs for awhile, open Wakelock Detector and select the icon in the top right to select "Wakeup Triggers"

This will show you which app waked the device when it was trying to sleep(=screen off) and how many times it waked it. Figuring out Google wakelocks will probably help you the most unless you have some poorly written or rogue app

A good start would be to remove ALL google apps that you don't use, and turn off google ads as well as notifications and scheduled checks within say...Play Store and Youtube and Gmail

I use the Qualcomm Snapdragon Battery Guru, seems to be working great for me. 15 hours with moderate to heavy use and I am at 10%

GSAM Battery Monitor is also great to see what apps are using more juice. I prefer it over Better Battery Stats but I use both

Anyone get a TD SERVER app1.0 that drains battery? It's draining about 7% of mine. There's a long list of apps that it says uses it. Wondered if I could freeze it or leave it alone?

I use BetterBatteryStats and Wakelock detector to figure out what apps are eating my battery and then greenify to freeze them when they aren't in use. I've gotten great battery life with that combo on all my phones

yeah, sorry for not putting that on screen time in here...it was low...barely used the phone...maybe 2 hours. i just thought this was pretty cool :) on the S3, while it was a great phone, even if i didnt use the device at all using the same setcpu and battery guru i would get about 15 hours max out of it. i get about the same time as blitzed26 with decent use...about 15-17 hours which i am extremely happy with!
