It depends.

Are your rooted? Which rom are you using. Do you want to back up apps and data or the entire rom? Do you have CWM recovery installed?

Titanium is good for backing up apps and data. CWM recovery to backup full rom with apps and data. Must be rooted and install CWM recovery for this method.

Yes, device is rooted... By cwm recovery you mean cwm option in ROM manager or something else? I was not able to find pkg under CWM name on the market.
