I am really hoping that it is cheaper as well. I am personally hoping that it is 700 to at least match the price of the Ipad. I would be ecstatic for 600 but do not believe we will be that lucky.

I suppose I will just keep my fingers crossed for 600 and hope the ad is fake.

That ad better be fake. Because that tablet is not worth 800. Don't get me wrong I'm not a fan of the ipad but if they want to compete they need to not stress specs and worry about pricing. I'm sure noone is going to drop 800 plus a forced one month data plan just to unlock wifi.

They won't let you leave the store with a xoom without an account activation. (see engadget's update for that leaked flyer). It won't matter if there's a hack.
