If that's the case - I'm dying to get away from all of y'all I feel like giving someone money for something they sell should be easier than buying these phones has been.... Why wouldn't it be a more transparent process to release ship dates?

Exactly this (as far as the transparency ) I haven't understood why it's so difficult for them to know when its coming out. I would go to Negri to order, but that version doesn't have LTE which matters to me because I travel a lot (and in some places, LTE is much easier to use than public wifi).

I will come back to this thread and talk about how much we love our phones after we finally get them if that ever happens!!!

I called two local AT&T stores today and they both told me they would have the Note 3 in store for sale on October 1, but I have read other people who have called their stores and been told later dates like October 3/4. Some stores still are saying they don't know. Seems kind of messed up really. I don't know why ATT announced the phone would be for sale on October 1, but there is still so much controversy amount the stores and it looks like online preorders won't ship till October 1. Then on top of all that you got Best Buy who kept messing up release dates as well. I don't get it. In Europe in the UK they said the phone would be available on September 25th and bam, it was. You could stroll into a store and get it. Why all the uncertainty here in the US?

I called multiple AT&T stores in my area 2 weeks ago it seemed like nobody even knew what a Note 3 was... Called again today and they all pretty much confirmed October 1st, except one who was certain it was the 2nd...

Best Buy Rep here in Houston Texas area . promised me that I can pick up the Note 3 sept .27 ....yes in 4 days . She had to promise me over n over again cuz I didn't believe her. She told me " I've been dying to get this phone and been looking at our updates when will receive it in the system everyday .I promise you it will be here ! They pushed the date up because of the iPhone 5s ." She sounded very excited and giddy when she told me . I did call another best buy right before this and he only knew of sept 4 sprint store rollout. Crossing my fingers !!!

WOW i take it as your getting the AT&T N3 i just called my buddy that works in a bestbuy mobile in the mall in manassas VA where i pre ordered and hes still waiting on tracking info i was told that i would receive it tomorrow as well im kinda blown since im using my OG evo until i get my note

This thread is just a good way to pass time until the phone comes out. Anyways lol this is serious ...so I just called another at&t store (pearland fm518 for people love in houston) .store manager I was talking to said its all confirmed that preorders will receive on wed and Friday the 4th .he's putting the note 3 display up tonight for tomorrows business .that's the only note 3 he received today from delivery . hahaha I'm just calling up random stores .

Hopefully bb will have it tomorrow! I preordered with bb cause it said the 27th hopefully I will get then.. Just tired of getting the run around with everybody not knowing the date..

So... The Verizon ones show up without a "pre-order" status now, have no release date, but say "In Store Only" and you can't check availability.... Main point being, the site changed, again.
