Is this the official one from OP or a different fabric case? Really like the look of the nylon one from OP but I don't want to spend that much money on a case. Been wanting to see a review for something like this, but haven't found it yet. If it is a fabric one that isn't the official nylon OP case, could you post pics and a link to it?

Please could you post pics of the front and the edges (lip) please ... and i note the width reads 80mm so does this make the phone bulky to hold?
here you go : https://imgur.com/a/kKzFd8C

For your other question, it's 2 or 3mm larger than the silicone case that comes with the phone.
I noticed it in the first seconds... then I forgot about it... I'm coming from a nexus 6p, so I'm already used to a large smartphone.

The phone doesn't feel bulky with this case, it's not minimalist, but I think it's the sweet spot between protection and not beeing too bulky.
I'm used to minimalist phone cases and I don't like most of them...
but this one feels so nice in hands and it looks great.

Looking to get a slim protective case, considering official Carbon bumper or the orzly flexicase, but can't seem to find the orzly case anywhere. As for screen procetion.. not getting the official since so many people have problems installing it. Maybe nillkin or orzly tgsp.

Just got the tudia double layered case. with the rubber guard and plastic covering. personally liked the silver one, I have to say that protection is great cut outs are really easy to get too and the buttons are tactile. overall very impressed, does everything a case needs to do without adding too much bulk .

I just returned the second one. It looks alright but the grip is quite loose, the tpu case that came with the phone has a much better grip. I am going to order the first one now hopefully it will have a proper grip.
The hybrid one grip is also not good.. The silicone is too edgy,, not rounded on the back..

It's good, but I find it sometimes really slippery and getting out of my grip.

Will be looking for orzly or ringke fusion that have a but rounded back for the silicone grip

I really like the Karbon Bumper Case from OnePlus, it's one of the best case I ever bought
Looks beauriful but the pricing really bugs me...

one should never get wallet case for safety reason. My oneplus 3 was just stolen when I was on a holiday trip. I cannot imagine what would have happened if my credit card or ID card was attached to my phone.
What a bullshit, fact is you only have to watch ONE thing and not two! You can loose your wallet or it being stolen just a easy as your phone can get stolen / lost. (I give a higher priority to my phone than my wallet)

Does anyone know a wallet case that still uses the slim hard inner case and not the hideous ssoft silicone ones?
I always used a wallet case and have gotten used to it, but it seems the chinese have 100% switched to the ugly soft inner cases which makes plugin in cables or USB otg sometimes hard. The fat edges make the phone look bulky, and it makes reaching the screen edges hard (i use volume slider app)

Well, you may disagree, but no need to curse.

You may have a point to say that keeping one thing safe is easier than keeping 2 things safe. However, one can also argue that, it is much easier for thief to steal one thing instead of two things, if they are kept separately.

i disagree. i don't know about you but my wallet stays in my front pocket until i need to use it which isn't often. unless i'm drunk as a skunk sleeping on the streets there is no way someone could snatch my wallet from me. my phone however, could definitely be snatched while i'm using it outside which actually is often.

Yeah, the FlexiCase is really good! Plenty of them about though! Which country were you hoping to order it from?
(it's on all the amazon's as far as I can see)

for example, for UK it's here... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07D3YRYLD

or for USA it's here. .. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D3YRYLD

or for Canada, it's this one... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07D3YRYLD

(the trick to finding it in other countries, if you notice the links are all exactly the same except for the country part of the extension. (so to find uk and canada, I simply took the".com" part and changed it to ".ca" or ".co.uk" respectively. But same trick will work even for others (like for example, Austrialia would be ".com.au" or mexico would be ".com.mx", etc. so they would essentially end up like this...)

Australia:
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07D3YRYLD

Mexico:
https://www.amazon.com.mx/dp/B07D3YRYLD

Germany:
https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07D3YRYLD

etc.

(This trick works for literally anything on amazon) So if you ever can't find something on one of them, or one of the countries doesn't ship to you, etc, try that little url trick, to see where else has it.
(it's a good way to shop around too, to see which one comes out cheapest). I do it all the time.

Hope this helps. ;)

OnePlus 6 OEM Flip case arrived. Much better than "stand" cadses that seem intentionally to make it hard to use fingerprint sensor (it is just the high double layer vs magical malice). Anyway, the OEM case is nice. The clunky DUX DUCIS Ultra Slim Layered Dandy [Kickstand] , which is neither Ultra, Slim, nor Dandy.
Just received Nillkin QIN flip case (and H+Pro) . Not as good to use as a sparkly but next best thing as it is a step up case. Harder cover/back and better protection.

Easy to use fingerprint sensor and good magnetic close and screen off.

I wish I got this before The OnePlus flip case. It is much better in my opinion. One other issue with the OnePlus site pseudo leather case is it is thick (but more usable than a bulkier stand case. The issue is the magnet works better with the case open to the back, but that is not the point to make it harder to use the fingerprint sensor.

So in my book for flip, QIN is best. Ordered direct from Nillkin on 27 May and got it last week.

Sent from my OnePlus ONEPLUS A6003 using XDA Labs
