iv had a look at some other roms but most are incomplete and very very messed up/buggy :/ i was just wondering what roms there are that are stable and complete with very few bugs !

thanks

I am in the same boat. We are in limbo at the moment. All the GB roms have stopped being developed. And ICS roms are to buggy. Many apps don't work with it and the cam is broken.

I have a lapdock staring at me at the moment and I have got no use for it. I tried all the ROMs based on Blur so I could use the Webtop but none of them work that well for me. Reboots, call drops etc.

At the moment I am using CM7 R3 and its pretty good. Replaced the launcher with Xperia S Launcher as I find it a bit better then the one that CM7 comes with.

Motorola are showing off ICS at the moment and it looks pretty good. I don't mind the idea of using the webtop with the ICS tablet interface. OpenOffice and many other programs are being ported for the ICS tablet. So pretty soon we will see apps on android that we are used to using on Linux, Mac and windows systems.

The Atrix is definitely getting ICS so its just a matter of waiting. Once an official release is done we will see a load of new fully working ROMs pop up all over the place.

This is my setup at the moment using CM7 RC3.
Screen Shot.

Also made some slight changes. I have added the CWM zips to this post of some of the system changes I have made. I am also using Miui Lock screen: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1288096
The theme I am using for the lock screen is this: http://www.mediafire.com/?v5l749ru2u2qro7

Plus I changed the cam to the ICS one and using the ICS GenieWidget and Miui music player.

So for now I am just going to keep using CM7 and hold off until the official ICS comes out and someone uploads it so I can flash it.

If you don't want to mess about trying to get your install like mine I have built a ROM with the changes I have made that you can flash.

You can also try this one. It has been heavily modified with improvements to memory, wifi and 3g. But because I was trying out Gallery ICS I replaced it with the Gallery it came with so the image viewer and video player are a bit buggy.

I have added these lines of code to the build.prop to improve the rom.
Code:

The beats and bravia zips install using CWM and they do make changes. Look on youtube for mobile bravia. You use the same recovery to install these mods as you use to install roms.

The apks (miui lockscreen, Xperia S Launcher) install by selecting them with a file browser installed on your phone.

I have added the benchmarks of the heavily modified version and screenshots. If you check it with the current ICS roms you can see it beats most of them. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArmGeaOoabq_dG9TQ2lwbjFsTVo2ZUt6NGI2cU9QQlE#gid=6

pinguy: have you tried the Notachtrix Blur ROM? I think its pretty good for what it is..
I did but it had a really bad bug that made it unusable. Not sure if its because I have a EU model phone but the Moto Blur Home didn't work.

So I couldn't do anything. I guess I could of set it up with with a different Launcher.

Anyway I am pretty happy with this setup I have now. I am pretty lucky. I have built many ROMs in the past so its not hard for me to build one to my likening. Just a shame I didn't backup the original firmware. I could of used that to build a ROM from.

The most stable/most useful is CM7.2, the BEST is CM9. It is the fastest rom and smoothest out there. Benchmarks on quadrant are like 4500 too.
