Best drop tested Note 8 Case? Tech 21 maybe?

The drop test videos earlier posts that I linked. The guy didn't have screen protector on it and screen was fine. But just to be safe I wouldn't risk it. $20 definitely worth protecting a thousand dollar phone. Just watch install video few times and you should be fine. Can barely tell it's on to be honest.

Towards the end with install video with lady she shows you what it looks like. You can barely tell it's on. Install in a clean environment! Use stickers for dust! Well lighting area. Install screen protector 1st.

Agreed and customer service sucks according to a lot of people. But my main concern is drop protection. I had no clue what I was doing kinda and came out perfect. Video made it easier. Even after you do it will there will be bubbles! They disappear 24-48 hours later promise. I use to love temper glass, not anymore. The feel of this film makes me love it. You will do perfect job and there will be 20% or so bubbles left. They will disappear!

After you get most out. Don't try to go overboard on difficult 1s and squash them out. You might mess up film up. Try after set period. Watch install video 2-3Xs!

Regarding the tech21 case side lips .. are they higher than the screen ? I already bought The Official Samsung rugged protective Case, but I am worried about the sides of the screen in this case.. it has front and back lips but screen is higher than the case on the sides. Does the tech 21 case have the same issue ?

Just received my Tech21 evon wallet case. Wife took it for herself. LOL.

I believe this case is basically a evo check case minus the back pattern and with wallet enclosure. Edges don't seem raised much at all. But it don't matter since it's a wallet type case .

Ordered another one for myself.

I am not going to feed you crap. Will be truthful so here we go. Research and you will see temper glass is best for scratches. Tech21 screen protector best for impacts. They infuse bullet proof material into it. I can't blame you for thinking that. Looks to thin to be good for impacts. But looks can be deceiving here.

Now onto the case. Well the top and bottom is above screen. The left and right screen slightly above case. I am guessing they did this because of curved screen and be able to access it. Most cases designed like this. This is why it's important to get screen protector. Incase you get a weird drop on its side like steps or something.

So I am looking again for another case, and I guess I settled on tech 21 . Serious question.. why did your drop your brand new phones 9x total in 1 week ?

Go to your cell phone store, those people good at putting on screen protectors. Chances are 1 of them have tech21 ask them to drop there phone. It's 1 of there most expensive case/protector. They will just to show and try to sell to you.

I was just at cell phone store and worker drop test his iphone x with tech21 case infront of us. Phone was fine.

I already have installed Whitestone so I wont get their screen protector. I hope a combination of Whitestone+tech 21 tactical case provide enough protection

Whitestone good kinda? Just hear a lot of bout peeling with them idk. In regards to case. First few times you will cringe from drops. But after that you won't give a ****.

Tech21 evo check Note 8 users, can help see if your case inside edge facing screen near top of power button is there a small extra protruding bit? Wondering if mine is defective. Thanks. Mine is black case, also tell me if yours is black or white.
