There is any one in US or Canada buy those batteries used for more than 2-3 weeks and have a good comment

Did you not read my last post above yours....I think it works almost as good. So unless you find an OEM for $9-$11 then buy a hong kong battery and be happy. I have seen OEM for about $25 but for half the price the hong kong is very good.

Yes the battery will charge in that but I dont recommend these, they suck. Cheap quality, break easy second slot need AC adapter, while cradle needs USB and not work from AC, poor design and NO cust support. I ended up with http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300386486694 works great.

Thanks !
Great review.

I am getting this one.

I am looking for OEM sized extended life batteries (those that DON'T require the bigger door). Seidio offers a 1750mAh for the T-Mobile USA version (my phone). Is there anything with a larger capacity but the same size as the original battery? Thanks.

For those who have the extended batteries and battery doors on their phones, I would appreciate a favor if/when you have time.

Could you make a measurement of the overall thickness with the battery cover on?

I am especially interested in the differences between the HTC OEM 2150 battery and cover for the TP2, the Seidio 3500 battery and cover, and the Mugen 4500 battery and cover.

It would be useful if we pooled our knowledge and created a comparitive chart of thickness: OEM/HTC2150/Seidio3500/Mugen3200/Mugen4500.

I have the Sprint/CDMA phone, so that is my concern. However, I think a chart of thicknesses would be useful

I"ll start:

_____OEM/__HTC2150/Seidio3500/__Mugen3200/__Mugen4500
mm:_17.3/__????????/_20.3-21.3 /____????????/__??????????/
in:__.681/__????????/_.8-.84____/____????????/__??????????/

The OEM thickness in MM comes from PDAnet. Conversion to Inches done by dividing by 25.4 [mm-inch].
The Seidio thickness is determined from their website claim to only add 3-4mm to the thickness. PEOPLE WITH THIS BATTERY: PLEASE VERIFY IT FOR US!

Please contribute to this chart by copying, adding the measurements and submitting. Thanks!

OK, here is an unverified thickness chart for Sprint/CDMA TouchPro 2 phones with extended battery packs added. If anyone has the data for GSM cases, please indicate if the thickness is any different.

_____OEM/__HTC(cdma)2150/Seidio(cdma)3500/Mugen(cdma)3200/Mugen(cdma)4500
mm:_17.3/__________20.25/_______20.3-21.3/________22.3mm/________30.3mm/
in:__.681/___________.797/__________.8-.84/___________.878/__________1.193/

The Mugen numbers are VERY approximate, as they are based on my lame attempts at measuring the thickness of the OEM back and adjusting for the Mugen battery covers.
The Mugen 3200 cover is 15mm thick, or .6 inches. The Mugen 4500 cover is 23mm thick, or .9 inches.
All numbers for their thickness are thanks to NIKOLAI at Mugen.
I came up with an OEM battery cover thickness of 10mm.
PLEASE confirm this if you have better tools to measure than I do, and then modify the overall thickness accordingly.
The forumula I used was: [OEM overall thickness-10mm+Mugen thickness]

THANK YOU, Cyclonut, for contributing the HTC Extended thickness!

Happy to help when I can. Just to note my phone is a GSM (At&t tilt 2). Didn't know if you only wanted CDMA. Sorry if I goofed.

Thanks for the help. I don't think it will matter, as I doubt the cover/door is any deeper on yours than the CDMA, but I've updated the list for accuracy.
