This GCam works best as per my usage in our Redmi Note 5 Pro. All features are working.

N.B: 240fps slow-mo support in 2nd link.
Android Pie and up, camera2 api required.

To get Gcam support, add these lines to /system/build.prop

persist.vendor.camera.HAL3.enabled=1
persist.vendor.camera.eis.enable=1

you can try the two apk simultaneous (different versions)
for full working all options of settings on Gcam_6.2.030 please see the attached screenshots
if you want go to settings > about to enable advanced settings

Bull****, everything is working fine. I also changed only front cam to nexus 6 and only enable camera api 2. Running fine with xiaomi eu and no camera patch on whyred.

Actually,the post should've mentioned that this gcam works fine on AI version. Apparently,the gcams from tigr and marlin-ku has front camera working on 6.x gcams.Arnova fixed the front camera bug and they too rectified it.You can easily download the gcams from celsoazvedo.

Before trying,check if camera 2api is enabled and also make sure to remove all camera related patches from magisk(if installed)

4K recording isn't working either... but then again this is the least buggy port for our whyred(Indian) I have encountered so far.

When I add those two lines into build.prop and reboot the camera the app com.sdgsystems.camera2probe does not change the information about camera capabilities, it still shows

LEGACY (lacks new features provided by Camera2)
