No. But everyone is asking for it. Hopefully they will add it to their new version

I have the latest beta for SwiftKey which let's you detach the keyboard and move it anywhere you want on the screen and it still doesn't have the keys on the top. Also when you press the numbers button to bring up the keypad they moved it from the left side to the right side which is kind of annoying.

SwiftKey on phone and tab. It's hard to find the motive to chance when you've got your personal dictionary etc setup. Only complaint I have is that SwiftKey seems to be heavier when it comes to resources. Oh and it's bs that you have to pay for separate version to use it on phone and tab.

Tried out touchpal. It was OK I liked the gestures to input numbers and such. But other than that I really wasn't a fan. Going to stick with SwiftKey for now.

SwiftKey tablet ftw.

- Best prediction engine I ever tried.
- Accurate flow (aka swype)
- Neat themes, only a few, but cool nevertheless.
- Very good and experienced development team.
- Has a 'trial' version
- Accurate and complete dictionaries.

Give it a go, I've tried many but I end up going back. It's s smooth as well, it's the only keyboard that put ups with my **** when I'm high.

I've used Swiftkey for such long time a long time I thought nothing could beat it, tried minuum for a while but went back to swiftkey. Then I started using TouchPal and I must say it is better in so many little ways, i.e. like swiping up/down on keys and editing keys to name a couple. It's on all my devices now.

Swype just had a major overhaul. Now split keyboard is possible, you can adjust the height, you can adjust the time-out for the secondary key options (! ? numbers etc), a new theme is available, it absolutely rulez even more now :good:

Agree it's very good. I've tried the new Swift Key and that's good as well but nothing beats Swype for actual swyping. Flow is decent but Swype makes it easier with various things.

Exactly. I've been using Swype since beta and swiping is just perfect. Next word prediction and typing each letter out, I would highly recommend SwiftKey. I use both since I paid for them.
But I use Swype mainly on the tablet and because it has Chinese language support.

What update are you referring to? I'm running an up to date 4.3 on my nexus with no problems.

Actually, it fixed itself. Here is what their support wrote:
.............
Google have made a change to their code that means that every time you reboot SwiftKey is deactivated and switched off. When the reboot happens none of our code is running, so there is no change that we can make that would have any effect.

Google did not intend for this to happen, and they have fixed it in a later version, but unfortunately it does often take a while for the updates to get around to everyone.

You can find a fuller explanation here*http://support.swiftkey.net/knowled...lt-keyboard-reset-on-every-restart-or-reboot-

Right now the only choices are:*
1 - continue to use SwiftKey (and turn it on every time you reboot your phone - if you place the SwiftKey icon on your home screen this will only take two clicks)*
2 - use another keyboard until it is fixed, then switch back to SwiftKey when you get the update*
3 - we can refund you for SwiftKey

Sorry we can't be more help,*
.........
As I said, the problem has since fixed itself.
