I was using Thumb Keyboard (Phone/Tablet) for many years, and on many tablets. It is good, love the layouts and never any crashes. The only ding was the suggested words. They gave you so many that the words became small and I often found myself clicking on the wrong word.
Recently I found TouchPal Keyboard for Tablets and really love this one so far. The suggested words are the best, good layout and themes to download. Has more of a 4.4 KitKat feel to the keyboard.
