For treble, Sooti's pie is very much stable.Havoc2 is feature rich but some lags and FC issues

Is there really any gain to update to Pie from stock ? can someone point me the "plus" to switch from stock 8.1 to custom 9 ?

at this point in time, imho the issue are much more of the gains.

better to wait at least a couple of months, so the bugs and issues will be sorted out.
