Hi guys!!! I'm trying to define which solution between cases, covers, and bumpers protects more our nice device.

Here are the main types of shields for our device:
1.TPU Gel covers ( Quite flexible)
2.Rubber Silycon covers ( Soft, grippy )
3. Hard Plastic covers ( Hard)
4.Aluminium bumpers ( nothing more to say)
5. Bookstyle cases,Flipcases ( mainly made of leather PU)

Please feel free to write your suggestions / unsuggestions, and even your experiences, preferred trademarks, bad experiences, etc etc.
This may help who's going to buy the first cover/case , and even who's going to change it.

I start with my first bad experience, a leather flip cover i got from ebay
I'm a newbie, and can't post outside links, but you can easily find what i'm talking about. Not bookstyle, leather PU , really popular on every e-commerce site.

Good quality leather PU, but the plastic cover that holds effectively the phone broke out after about 3 days.Going literally to pieces with no falls, just pressing buttons. Cheap stuff, cheap result.
Totally unsuggested.

I used flip case.
For now second one. First was made from hard, thin, not plastic:)P) plastic with leather. After two days this "cover" disintegrated herself :p
Second one. Made from good quality leather and soft, slightly bending plastic. No problems with falling away pieces. But it cost almost two times more than first one.
Only minus is that device is larger in it.

I have 3 covers and the 4th is on its way:

1st: Leather case > Broken: Phone will fall out of it
2nd: Flipcase > Magnet is not working proper
3rd: Wallet case > Case itself is broken
4th: Sline TPU case
I use my phone alot and I need a case that works without getting broken xD

Got this on eBay for 3 USD. Cheap case that fits nicely and a cutoff for the awesome aluminium lock button.

I have a S-Line case. This one fits perfect and the protection (besides front screen) is good.
Does anyone know if our device has a protection film over the screen? The Z family does but I cant find it for our device......

If you are talking about a protection film on the screen when you unpack the phone just after you bought it, the answer is no. ( Or to be precise, not in my country) . I got some cheap and good quality protection films on ebay from a german store, the product is named "Savvies ultraclear":cowboy:

I am using soft silicone gel case for my xperia sp and I am happy with it than compared to the flip case which I was using earlier. Now my grip is great And because of soft body of case it absorb more shock.

I do not totally agree with you :D Soft silicone absorbs really well light shocks. That material receives kinetic energy from impact and soften vibrations, but does not dissapate those because of its closed shape. This is a problem with heavy impacts.Shock is absorbed and transmitted to the phone.
With heavy shocks, a solid plastic cover reacts better in my opinion, because it absorbs vibrations for a very short period of time and breaks up, dissipating them , like a motorbike helmet.

I just got an S-Line off ebay. Given that my phones last me less than 2 years (before I upgrade), I don't see any point getting anything more expensive...

I'm using simple black gel tpu case which I bought off ebay. It has fell numerous of times and is fine so far.. Also using stock screen cover. I prefer not to put the phone in the same pocket with keys because mysterious scratches have appeared on screen protector.
