Best replacement battery in UK for A9191 Desire HD.

Hi all,

Sorry if this subject has been hammered already, but a lot of these things are time specific, i.e. battery tech improves with time.

About a year ago I bought a Desire HD 1600mah replacement battery from a popular auction site, and it worked for a few weeks.

Now it doesn't hold a charge...and basically makes my phone freak out when I put it in.

I've seen Gold batteries on the popular auction site, which are 2450mah ish. I've also heard things about Anker batteries, the 1600mah kind.

What do other DHD users in the UK (or at least available to the UK) recommend for a replacement battery.

That cheap 1600mah one is in the bin...you know the ones that come with a free YiboYuan charger!

It's available for all Europe.

They are very expensive, and the capacity is not much bigger than stock. Has anyone any experience of the following? :-

I've also heard mixed views of anker batteries...so I'm not sure about these. The mugen power ones, although expensive, no one has a bad word to say, so maybe the high price is worth it...although the low capacity rating (1500 mah?) concerns me.

The best combination of mah quantity and quality is Anker 1909mah.
Only drawback, the mod in battery cover to hold the bigger battery in place.

I don't think that cheap batteries are so good. Personaly , I've never tested. I prefer the original ones provided by HTC, or the expensive ones.
