Can't tell you the sot because it's not my phone, but it sure is very low. And the battery drops from ~50% to 0% in seconds.
10€ seems to be the right price. They are 20€ on samsung's store, but 10€ is on Amazon, sold by Amazon. I never got fake / used items from them.
Anyway, it's worth a try. I can send it back for free if it's not OK.
Mmmmm ...... Well it's been a few years since I was living there, they do seem cheaper though I can't find anything on Samsung website, here in Oz we still have to pay over the odds! :( Hope you get a good one anyhow.

Well, I kept searching a bit and found a lot of interesting threads from samsung owners seeing this exact same behaviour after flashing a CM Rom.
I "might" have found a fix. Apparently, you need to fully charge your phone, then remove the battery long enough for a specific chip to be unpowered and to reset itself. That is, supposedly, the only way to force a battery recalibration on some samsung phones (I found threads from S2s and S4s owners).
Charging right now (with phone turned off), so I'll let you know tomorrow morning how it went.
Cheers !

And of course, if hat doesn't help then I'll just buy a new battery.

OK, so the phone made it through the day.
Battery was at 20% in the evening (I was not expecting a miracle), but there was no drop and the discharge rate was constant through the day.
Did the battery gauge settle by itself or did the "trick" work ? I don't know, but now it's OK, and it's a very easy manipulation.

Test it for few more days. After each calibration and successfully watching how battery stable dropped to zero thinking I finally made it I was always surprised later with issue coming back after next charge. I'm still pretty sure it's cm thing, but maybe you can prove me wrong :D

Still doing fine for now. Yesterday evening battery was at 40%, pretty good.
There was a wakelock from lockclock (weatherupdateervice), even though I disabled the weather on the lockscreen. I fixed it so battery should even do better today.
