best root method

well after letting the phone be out for a little while and giving the devs some time to work their magic. which is the best root method to date in your opinion? only reason for this is cause ive seen a lot of people having trouble with certain ways and i just dont wana make my phone a $600 paper weight lol. thanks!

Try zedomax method its fully reversible and doesn't flash a bootloader.

well i wanted the best way to be able to flash roms. root, unlock bootloader, and flash recovery.

Easiest way by far is just go to htcdev.com and unlock your bootloader. Flash TWRP and then wipe (if you don't mind losing data) and flash any rooted rom. This will let you nandroid your current build and most times you can flash any stock rom over your current and not lose your data (nandroid first.) One-click roots and such I have never trusted...easier to just flash a rooted rom.

Zedomax

Use Zedomax, I have seen some posts with people haveing troubles with the automated one, then when your all done rooting, and unlocking the bootloader, load "goo manager" from play store, that will put TWRP on the phone for you.

yeah this is without a doubt the easiest method available ...i did it and first try for me it fully rooted unlocked and flashed twerp

ditto. havent tried the other root but this is the easiest method I have ever tried.

Regawmod method is the easiest I've ever used. he also has video tutorials in the post on how to root using his method.
