I use the Zagg invisible shield. After a week it's not lifting and was really easy to put on. Someone at work got the same one (they were on launch special for the Note 8) and they didn't follow instructions and they have a lot of lost sensitivity.

I really like the zag but understand some people don't like it and yes their S8 ones were terrible.

Florida unfortunately.
Just installed my second replacement illumishield clear wet application film. I think this is the best it's going to be with this brand. Clarity wise its very good. But it doesn't cover as much as the orange peel Spigen.

Glass Screen Protector with Installation Tray - Works GREAT!

I have tried several of the Glass Screen Protectors and finally found a Glass Screen protector that really works great, Better than any I have used so far and I have tried several. This is a "dry" installation - no mess - no liquids to put on the screen. Because it is a curved screen protector the glass screen protoector adheres on the sides, top and bottom only. But they apparently put enough 'adhesive" on the sides, top and bottom to make sure the screen installs, holds firmly and stays installed. Yes, I am am also using a case - 'thin' case that provides enough protection and doesn't interfere with the screen.

Black trim at the top, sides and bottom - this glass screen protector comes with an installation tray that facilitates getting the glass screen protector placed exactly right on the phone's screen and it is made for use with 'thin' cases.

YOu can find them here - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074G1W2RC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They are made by AM FILM - and they work GREAT. No Dead Spots - great responsiveness when typing, with fingers and the SPen - it really is an exceptional screen protector for the Note 8.

Thx for the review! Can anyone else confirm this? Seems it has mixed reviews in Amazon.

.

FYI......My review was unsolicited..I say this only to make sure people don't think I got free product to say nice things. Also, This is the second time I installed this screen protector and had equal results both times. The first was with my original note 8 I bought that was missing OEM unlock. I returned that phone..bought a new Note 8 from Clove and then bought another And ill glass screen protector and installed it. Easy installation both times and both times ZERO problems. (I Got this screen protector initially because I had installed a screen protector from this same company on my old S8plus and I had been very satisfied with how well it worked.)

So got my shiny new Note 8 week ago. Also with that got the Whitestone Dome screen protector and alcantara case.

Tried to install screen protector:

1st. attempt: The screen lined up incorrectly from the bottom, tried to "lift it up to the position" just created more airbubles and the glue poured out from the sides.
After cleaning my Note 8 with the alcohol swipes, (It was a mess to try to clean the phone AND the glass screen protector)
2. attempt with the second bottle of glue..... There was a dust particle on the glue itself. Great.

Wait for a week to mobilefun to ship me another one. (while doing so i was "dry- practicing" to get it 100% correct this time)

3. attempt was a charm.... until.... when the glue spread there was 2 small air bubbles... Take the second bottle and "tap" the small air bubbles away. (while doing so being extremely nervous about that the screen protector might move or great new bubbles). Managed to get the bigger one out but there was the small one... Didn't get that out.

Light up the UV light and call it a day. Only problem is now there is small air bubble that is pretttty distracting to say the least.

So, now i am with 50€ in my account from the order. (Because i demanded that they refund me this horrible product). I am left to choose new screen protector.

My options that i have read:
- Rearth invisible defender - The problem with this is that there is "snowfall" effect and the screen is too damn sticky (according to reviews)
- IQ Shield - The problem with this is that the S-pen (according to reviews) leaves trails to the TPU protector. Because it's so soft and it will not cure overtime.
-Zagg invisible shield - Unresponsivnes and the fact that it has "raimbow" -effect on the screen.

New one that i just founded out about:
-Powerpeak Base- According to this guy (Install Jimmy is Promo's "Base Screen protector for Samsung GALAXY S8 & Note 8 here) Its pretty good. Might be ad though... Does any of you have experience on this?

The whitstone does have pretty good responsiveness and all that good stuff. But the problem is the installation and even when i tried to be 100% accurate with the installation, it still greated air bubbles. And the fact that there is a HUGE risk that the glue when cured can cause damage to the screen.... More specifically if you manage to cure the glue when the glue is over the earpiece... you are ****ed with your 1000€ phone.
I got the iq shield version 1 or 2(cant remember. Its the one that says edge to edge. Covers ENTIRELY and have a dbrand skin on the back. With exception of edges, it covered from scratches. NO spen marks btw as long as you let it cure overnight after installing. I can verify and have tested this hardcore after 24 hours. The skinomi absolutely did get spen marks :(

I'm looking at IQShield and Skinomi right now but don't have enough info to decide on one or the other. Would love to hear about your experiences with other non-TGSPs and if you ever come across one you would recommend.
Go with iq shield. I have tried both. If going caseless, get the edge to edge(i would recommend a dbrand skin for the back tho). No spen marks after 12 hour cure. No rubbery feel and cant tell its there like the case friendly ones. Plus, even if you screw up both of them- if you explain that you messed them up or kept getting dust they will send a replacement free.

I kinda feel like they're the exact same company with different names. They have the same looking product, same price, same website design, same "yahoo" store setup, same cuts and versions.

I installed my Whitestone today, and I am fairly impressed with it. I did the install in a steamy bathroom to reduce dust, and I also put a piece of tape over the earpiece (Thanks for that tip!). The install went fairly well, but I did end up with a few very small bubbles I can see if I hold the phone with the screen off at just the right angle. It is by no means perfect, but it is much better that the other 2 glass protectors I had tried so far. They would not stay in place, and the pen-tile/graph paper look of the one I was using most recently was far more annoying than the faint bubbles I have now. I would definitely buy a Whitestone again, and I might try one more application attempt if my OCD takes over, but so far it hasn't. I just wish for the days of a perfectly flat screen again, like my Note 5. I can't say I am fan of the rounded screens - regardless of how much better they allegedly are.
