Use a custom rom and get latest updates

It's an amazing phone. But yeah, software support is not gonna have monthly updates, and it's MIUI, lol.

You're in XDA, so go wild with custom roms here. They make this phone so much better.

I know, but custom roms should be a choice, not a necessity. Coming from Samsung with monthly updates, I'm spoiled.

I honestly like MIUI way more than OneUI, but at this point it's all personal preference. Still went for custom roms for now though, as they feel smoother to me.

Update cycle for MIUI is pretty bad though, for sure. One of the ways to use MIUI with good, monthly security patch updates is to use weekly MIUI builds. They're on September patch rn on most devices (including the F3).
