mx is a good player right ...

but i came to the conclusion that most apps look like they are made by one guy with no UI skills or fantasy ...

on ios every app looks very polished and fits in the UI but on andoid its poor ...

most apps have a list with files to click on ... and then video starts ... no fancy buttons what soever

just a statement guys ... mx is good though

I've tried Dice, MX, Arcmedia, Vital etc on my Sensation XE flashed with orDroid 1.7.1 Sense 4.0 but none gave me good result when playing 720P mkv file. But then when I tried BS Player v1.2 build 125, everything was playing very smooth using BS Player HW acceleration decoders (Not Hw from System. You can select the decoder from Preferences).

I tried to play 720p mkv format videos and none of the players worked fine. I have SGS2 also and its playing the mkv files absolutely fine.
i have tried different ROMs and kernels but the same results nonetheless.

I would suggest the VPlayer Pro. It plays almost everything.

How High a bit rate are you talking about?? I have seen wuite a few HD movies. Mkv 720P without clutter! Whats the Bitrate you are looking at??
